Medical professionals are continually pressed to take roles in management and improvement of health systems performance. The IFMSA is taking a key role in developing future leadership for global health and training. Developing key human resources is becoming increasingly important to provide medical students with these necessary skills that the strained academic field often fails to provide. In IFMSA-Egypt, the newly developed Training Support Division aims to provide IFMSA -Egypt members, the future physicians, with the essential skills to potentiate work within the organization and to better prepare them for their future medical careers. We believe that training will equip medical students with the skills, knowledge and attitude that they need to make the world a healthier place for all people. What are the trainings that are available?- Conflict Prevention - Communication - Strategic Planning - Project Planning - Leading and Facilitating Meetings - Financial Management - Fundraising, Advocacy - Marketing - Writing - Presenting When are these trainings available?- Trainings are held during: - IFMSA-Egypt General Assemblies - Training weekends in the Local Committees - Individual training sessions in the Local Committees - National workshops - Regional Training Workshops - At regional partnership meetings training workshops will concentrate on initiative and capacity building skills. Regional partners will deal with local logistics and needs with IFMSA and external trainers providing training.
How can I be a Trainer?IFMSA –Egypt holds an annual TNT. TNT trainees undergo three day training on how to design and deliver IFMSA based trainings.
